Painted Skulls
Make skull shapes from salt dough (you can do this by hand or by using a skull shaped cookie cutter). Use brightly coloured paint to decorate your skull in the style of the Mexican Day of the Dead.

Sugar Skull
In Mexico decorated sugar skulls are used as part of the Day of the Dead festival. Make a skull shape from fondant icing or white chocolate moulding paste. Use icing pens and small sweets to decorate.

Paperclip Rainstick
A rainstick made from a kitchen roll inner and paper clips. Fairly simple to make but requires a little patience.
Recommended for age 9+.
Vampire Bat Puppet
Make a vampire bat finger puppet. Glued rather than stitched.
